Baked potatoes Pour all of the charcoal you can into the pot with a starter at the bottom. Light it up and let 'er rip for at least an hour. When it's 40 minutes to go before eating, remove all of the coals except a little layer on the bottom. Put in your bakers leaving an air space between them. Add back all the coals and top up with fresh charcoal. 40 minutes later remove to the rack above the fire to keep warm. |
Panache half a chicken Put the chicken on the grill at the lowest possible heat with a probe in just under the skin at the top. Cover with lid. Takes an hour and a half. |
Burgers Put frozen burgers on cold grill to thaw out a bit. At 6:20 start the grill on low and cover with a lid. Flip a couple of times. |
Baresse sausage Put the sausage coil on the cold grill and let thaw. At 6:20 start the grill at low and cover with lid. Flip a couple of times. |
